Can't load attachment photos < 10mb onto gmail
I get "attachment failed" when trying to attach a photo to gmail. As far as I know, I didn't change anything, the problem appeared out of no where.

It is possible that your security (anti-virus) software is scanning the attachments and is causing this problem by blocking the file.
I turned my avast off. I see that others have this problem in the past, but the thread was closed.
I'm in the Philippines, and my ISP is very poor. But even at 5am (it's 6:48am now) the 1.12 Mb attachment failed to load.
Any luck with starting Windows in Safe Mode?
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
I hold F8 right for about a minute after doing restart, and the screen stays black. Only when I release F8 does windows restart, in normal mode.
I don't think that's a Firefox problem. Do you have any other accounts apart from Gmail so you can test it? Gmail has been having intermittent attachment problems.
At this location support.mozilla.org › Home › Support Forum I found this could you please try the following: enter about:config into the location bar & search for all preferences beginning with network.http. - in case any of them is shown in bold & therefore not on its default value please right click and reset those preferences. afterwards restart the browser and see if the problem is gone. when this did not resolve the issue or all entries were already set to their default values, please toggle network.http.spdy.enabled (again in about:config) to false by double-clicking it & restart the browser again.
So I tried it, and it helped. I can now attach photos. But I, like you, think it's a google problem. How can they claim to be able to sort my mail by importance? They put my airline reservations in my spam box!
Can you remember which prefs were bold and needed to be reset?
None were bold. I boldified network.http.spdy.enabled, network.http.spdy.enabled.v2, and network.http.spdy.enabled.v3
How would i know if it is doing this? (am not teccie, but can learn!)
