How to scroll tabs with mouse wheel?

I used to be able to scroll through the selection of tabs when the tab bar is full using my mouse wheel (like the navigation arrows on either side), but recently it changes the tab I'm viewing as if I've physically clicked on it.

I'd appreciate some help on how to make it work the way it did.

Chosen solution

That should still be working if you hover the tab bar with the mouse.

Do the scroll buttons on the tab bar work?

Do you have the Firefox window maximized?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

- The scroll bars/arrows on the tab bar works. - Yes, but it acts the same windowed. - I only have the one default theme in Appearance.

- The problem goes away when I open Firefox in safe mode.

The culprit was the 'scroll wheel in tab bar' option under 'enable' in the extension 'All-in-One Gestures'.

Thanks for the help!
