I am using dreamweaver to create a new website. When testing it the home page (named index.html) does render properly in firefox but looks fine in other browsers. I found out that if I name it default.html or index.htm it look normal. Just the file index.html looks wrong.

HI ccsjoe, So that will depend on alot of different things. If you need help with this code please try stackoverflow to get some developer advice.

However from experience, the difference in html vs htm is that there is no real difference. However even if there is no real difference, if the files are not the same, they will be different. http://www.sightspecific.com/~mosh/ww.../ext.html
