I selected sent messages to be put in my inbox; that works but TB also puts a copy in my Sent folder.

I am on TB 24.4.0 and in my account setup I selected sent messages to be put in my inbox; that works but TB also puts a copy in my Sent folder. Why and how do I get around it? Some levels back I had to always copy responses from my Sent folder to my inbox so they would be threaded together. Since the email appears now in both folders, when I delete the message from the Sent folder - of course the one in inbox disappears too.

what about Gmail or Outlook/hotmail/Whatever they are called this week.

They both add anything that is sent using their SMTP server to your sent folder making duplicates in the sent folder for most.
