I want to move the Tabs from the top of the screen (they are just underneath the Menu items) to underneath the (cutomised) Bookmarks toolbar - where they used to be.

How can i do this?

Hey kev888,

We spent a lot of time designing the new interface. In our user testing the majority of our users felt like it was a big improvement and it really streamlined the browser.

That being said, we really care about all of our users and not just the majority vote ;) Firefox is SO CUSTOMIZABLE that if you really really want the old look back you can do it with one quick step. This article will walk you through the process!

See:

--- If you do not want to use an extension then you can move the Tab bar to the lower position with code in userChrome.css as basically you only need to give the Tab bar a higher -moz-box-ordinal-group value (most toolbars have a default -moz-box-ordinal-group:1 to show them in DOM order).
