Chosen solution

You can use an Add-on to show add a column to the Library dialog for the folder of the bookmark.

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/

The extension may show just the folder name or you can display the full path through the menu to the folder. That full path option is useful if a folder accidentally gets dragged and dropped somewhere so you can drill down to it and find it.

To access extension settings, you can use the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then look for the Options button under the specific extension.

Any luck?

Added and enabled the show-parent-folder app..checked Show parent folder in Views, but see no additional column in Firefox BM sidebar or when use Search to locate the individual bookmarks.

Hi Rothie, try right-clicking the bar with the column headings to display a list that lets you turn columns on and off. Can you find it there?

Found it-Thanks.
