Hi, I want to disable the "Thought-provoking stories" shortcuts from the home / new tab page on Android.

Following the other forum posts and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/hide-pocket-recommendations-firefox there should be a switch for "Thought-provoking stories" under Settings - Homepage - Shortcuts, but I don't see it. What can I do? Thank you for your help.

I upgraded to Windows 11 on a new machine a few days ago. Had to re-install all my software from scratch.

I just discovered I can’t create subfolders. Not sure long the problem has existed (I don’t create subfolders very often).

I tried creating a subfolder on several different top level folders, on multiple accounts (Hotmail & Gmail). The "name new folder" dialog never appeared. No error message appeared, either.

Windows Task Manager shows 2% CPU usage, and 21% memory in use.

i am struggling to import all my data into thunderbird before the 16th september 24 deadline for outlook 2007 to stop working. It looks like it has put the emails across but under a folder called "outlook import" which is not all that helpful, i will have to move everything to be under the "local folders". I have a lot of accounts as i have several of my own domains but i can't find where they have imported them, if at all. I started adding them manually but there doesn't seem to be a button to test the connection and it will take me a long time to do. I also don't seem to have all my contacts (14670 at last count) so all in all the import button seems to not do everything it should. It was suggested i come to thunderbird by someone on the MS forums so i really would like this to work. Once i have it working at home i will have to do the same at work and they have even more contacts and accounts so any help will be appreciated.

    I have always used my Firefox browser to access my bank accounts, one being my private account and the other for my company account.  I noticed however last week that I could not log in to my company account but I had no problem logging in to my private account.  I contacted the bank ( Handelsbank in Sweden) who were surprised but said that this problem may occasionally arise with the Firefox browser.  (However it has never happened before to me over the last 10 years!)  Is this a temporary gliche or do I have to switch to another browser ? !

Hello, I'm having some problems with multiple websites at the moment on log in, when i put my personal information and click on the logging button, nothing happens, and i have tried with another browse (chrome), the next action is show a captcha to permit the log in, that can't be shown on Firefox.

Some sites are Coursera, this is where i recognized this problem, the other is Good Smile Company (the US version).

Can anybody know how to solve this? i want to stay on Firefox for all my internet navigation.

When I'm using Firefox Multi-Account Containers with the option "Limit to designated sites" enabled, I encounter an annoying issue when navigating between different subdomains of the same website.

For example, if you navigate from "https://www.google.com" to "https://accounts.google.com," you will exit the "Google" container until that subdomain is manually added to the container.

I thought it would be nice if I could somehow create a container for "https://*.google.com/" (where * acts as a wildcard, as explained in the note below).

• Is it possible to do this? If so, how, and what is the safest way? (See note below)
• If not, is there any viable solution to this problem?

Note: The RegEx (or wildcard) * should only allow alphanumeric variations to prevent security vulnerabilities. For instance, "https://www.PhishingSite.com/WeStealYourAccount.google.com" could bypass the container if * is not restricted properly. In this case, * could mistakenly refer to "www.PhishingSite.com/WeStealYourAccount"

When I search for a previous email only a couple of days old, the search only allows years 2023 and before. It won't retrieve any 2024 emails. How can I correct the retrieval dates to include 2024?

My accent colour for my PC is a kind of lime green which I like. The blue of Mozilla Thunderbird worked really well with that green. The recent update has changed the colour of Thunderbird to a bright lime green which I really don't like. Is there anyway of keeping my PC accent colour whilst reverting Thunderbird to it's traditional blue colour please?

I cannot use Firefox due to this error message. What do I do now?

The global search in TB is completely defective. I am now running 128.2.0esr and hoped that update might fix it. It hasn't. I just wonder, are there any older or non ESR versions I can downgrade/move to, where the search is fully functional?

I'm not understanding just what would happen if I cancel my cable service (don't watch TV) and go to strictly streaming services, that I'm using now exclusively anyway. Can you help my poor confused brain function again???
