All sites I visit show a message, "Your connection is not secure," including Firefox.
Last night after updating my Bitdefender security and a reboot, I've been encountering a "Your connection is insecure" message on every page I visit, including Firefox (Mozilla.org). It seems a waste of time to add exceptions to 100s of sites. Any suggestions or fixes? I've been a Firefox user for many years and have never seen anything like this.
I also recently updated Firefox to the most recent version.

hi, you should never add exceptions in these circumstances but fix the underlying issues - most probably you'll have to disable the scanning of secure connections like described in How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites

Thank you, philipp! It worked and my problem is no more.
I had this problem after installing the new firefox quantum, on Windows 10 x64 fall creators update. But my AV is Windows Defender, I don't have any security software scanning secure connections. I think this is the first time I installed firefox on this system. I have had this problem on and off in the past.
@shmu26, hi can you please open a new question about your problem? thnx
