Add-on language is automatically modified after installation
Hi!
I'm brazilian and I'm using the Firefox Sync. But I'm having a little problem: I want use this add-on in English, but the language its automatically changed to portuguese after installation... The worst part is that is not the portuguese of Brazil that is installed, but of Portugal!
My question is: can I install choosing the language? How can I do this?
I installed the English Version of Firefox and after I installed the add-on, ok, the add-on was installed in English, but after install de portuguese version again, the language was changed again!
Thanks!

What is the value of the pref general.useragent.locale on the about:config page?
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Hi! The pref general.useragent.locale is "pt-BR"... =/ The add-on should be defined with this language, is not it?

The add-on will only use the language setting in the pref general.useragent.locale if it has there is such a section defined. If it is missing then you either get some default or maybe another pt if such one is present. I've never test that, so don't know what happens.
I've checked the Sync extension and it only has a pt-PT locale, so that would explain it. There are a lot of other locales missing as well and I assume that those will be added at a later time because Sync is present by default in Firefox 4.0
You can post in the Sync forum and ask if there are plans to include a pt-BR locale.

So, I don't want PT-BR, I just used this for an example. I really want use the English as default language. At my work, I installed this add-on and the language is English. I've used the same link to download it, and I'm using same version of Firefox (3.8.10).
Well, while the version 4.0 isn't launched, I'll try found the sollution. I'll access the link above, thanks!
