I upgraded to Firefox 17 and my Norton tool bar no longer works. I use the identity safe feature on the Norton toolbar. How do I get it to work ?

hello jamesgar, please run symantec's liveupdate to download an updated version of the toolbar: https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-17-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/853416

iamjayakumars, that is a old link (for Fx 15) as they always have a new sticky for each new Firefox release.

I have updated Nortion to latest version, have run live update and restarted computer. Still no luck. History search of Norton live update does not find tool bar. Is there some implied step(s) that I may be missing? Help.

I was having the exact same problem, too. Finally realized that Norton wasn't telling me to update my Norton program to a newer version (I figured it would when I ran updates) Got to: http://updatecenter.norton.com/ And that will check your software to see if you need a newer version.
