Pinterest buttons, imbedded, add-on, and in left click menu have all stopped functioning in both my home Mac, and my work PC. What is going on?

I have tried rebooting, uninstalling flash, reinstalling flash, uninstalling pin it buttons, reinstalling pin it buttons. Nothing bears fruit. Sometimes no pop-up opens, and sometimes it does, but then it remains blank, it does not give me the button menu to assign the pin.

I include a screenshot of the browser console, from when I tried clicking on a "pin" button on an image.

Do you have the latest version of the Pinterest browser button?

Yes, I do! As I said, I uninstalled, then, well, installed the newest one.

Version 1.37.9 is working for me on Windows. (It shows the images in the overlay, and clicking them launches a new window, but I didn't log in and try to pin any of them.)

Could another extension be conflicting? You might try disabling anything nonessential (or should I say, less essential than Pinterest) to see whether that helps. You can do that on the Add-ons page, either:

  • Cmd+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column click Extensions, then on the right side, disable as many as possible.

Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Any improvement?
