I start to scroll down a web page and then the next text is suddenly blank. I have to go back a step and then forward to get it to continue, and do this countless times. Or, just as bad, the text or images turn into a ghastly unreadable vertical streak. Any ideas? Thanks! John Titford.

hi JohnTitford, please try if the following can solve the problem: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named layers.allow-d3d9-fallback. double-click it and change its value to false and then restart the browser once...
