Not able to access email
I have never needed a password to open my email account until today. I never entered a password and now it is requiring one to receive or send mail. using imap.comcast.net and smpt.comcast.net

A password IS required to access your Comcast (Xfinity) emails. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/sign-in-to-email-or-voicemail-on-xfinity
If you don't remember the password, reset it and use the new password with Thunderbird.
