When I put Firefox onto my new computer, it didn't transfer over my saved password. Even when I manually type in my password on a site it doesn't prompt me or give me an option to remember or save the password anymore. Also, the box in the option screen for remembering logins is grayed out and cannot be clicked on. What can I do?

hi bvparts, firefox won't save your passwords when you've set it up to run in permanent private browsing mode ("never remember history" in the options > privacy panel).
