Hi,

I'm working on a website and cannot get FF mobile to clear cache. It just keeps loading old CSS, so I cannot see the effect of my changes. "Delete browsing data" doesn't seem to do anything. On Chrome mobile it works just fine. What's wrong with what I'm trying to to, or with FF mobile? Restarting actually helps, but I don't want to do that for every little change of my files.

Ideally there'd be a setting to switch off all cache completely. I'm dreaming ...

Thanks!

What happens when you select Clear Cache from the applications option in the Android Settings application?

Hi

Clearing the app data from the Android Settings app will take Firefox for Android back to a "first run" state, as if you had just installed it.

Is this what you are looking for?

Hi Seburo,

Thanks for your reply. That would certainly clear the cache, but it would also delete everything else, including my bookmarks and passwords. I only need my latest css files to be loaded. I.e. cache cleared. As I wrote, restarting the app already helps, but I don't think that should be necessary. There should be an easy way to clear or better yet disable cache.

Yes, that worked. And it has the advantage that I can easily switch between FF and the Settings app. Easier than having to dig into FF settings. Thank you!
