Scroll does not work, pops back to top and does not allow scroll to bottom
Scroll feature is not working correctly. When I try to scroll down, the image will "pop" back to the top, not allowing me to scroll down.
I scroll using either the trackpad or a trackball mouse and I still have the same problem. When I start to scroll down the web page, I get only so far and then the page snaps back to the top. It seems to have started with the last Firefox update. I am using 91.0.2

Is it more a function or time or distance? In other words, does it seem the page might be reloading every so often (taking you back to the top) or that reaching some point in the document triggers a return to the top regardless of how quickly or slowly you reach that point?
Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution to see if that behaves differently.
It seems like that sometimes I can get it scroll some, then it snaps to top, and will snap with each scroll. I have closed and opened FF is safe mode and I still have it. I have closed and opened it in regular mode, then disabled all my extensions, and I still have it. I went to [settings]>[General]>[Performance] and disable that with no improvement. Could this be an Ubuntu bug, since I am using a distro of Ubuntu (POP!_OS)?
More when I first open a web page and scroll down it works, then after 3-5 seconds, it goes into the no scroll snap to the top. I found trying to order something and the quantity was below where I could scroll and it snapped backup. Sure made filling in the form hard,
If you use the scroll bar, either moving the scroll "thumb" or clicking the up and down buttons, does it behave any differently?
It happens with either the touchpad using two finger scroll or with my Logitech trackball mouse using the wheel function. I can scroll line-by-line with the up/down arrows which is very slow. Do not have a scroll bar on laptop.

Sorry, I was referring to the scroll bar at the right side of the browser window. Is that hidden on Linux?
Yes the side scroll works. This is strange as today after booting on, I have not experienced the problem (yet). I had all my normal add-ons enabled except "No-Script". I have enabled "NoScript" and the problem as not occurred (yet). So it showed up a week or so ago, and now the problem disappeared.
Let some time to pass, an if the problem stays away, I will mark this solved. Even though I have no idea of why it happened or what caused it.
