I was told by Yahoo to use Mozilla firefox as I couldn`t forward or reply e-mails. I had downloaded the new version of yahoo thus I asked them to solve my problem. If I don`t download Mozilla firefox everytime I log on I can`t use Yahoo to forward or reply to e-mails. For some reason my laptop won`t retain Mozilla can you please help.

Make sure that you haven't set the download page as on of the home pages.

HI there, Thanks for the reply, I must add that I am fairly new to the internet and I am 66yrs old. I didn`t really understand what you meant, when I download mozilla firefox I get an icon on my desktop and it is downloaded into a file. The icon and the program are not in use when I turn the laptop on even though the icons are there. Firefox is linked to Yahoo as when I have re downloaded it the page it sends me to the home page for Yahoo.

In which browser do you get that download prompt?

Is the Firefox program still in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) ?

Did you check that you do not access a page that automatically starts a download?
