I migrated from v26 to v27 and noticed a perceptible running slowdown. I downgraded to v26 : Ok. Later on, I migrated to v28. Same slowdown. Therefore, back to V26 !!!

Is there any technical explanation ? Any plugins or extension known for this disorder ?

It is unwise to use old unsupported and insecure versions of Firefox.

Facebook
There is a particular problem possibly with only some older XPs with facebook, that is solved in Firefox 29.

FlashPlayer
Flashplayer is often troublesome. But Note Windows XP will not have problems with the Adobe protected mode,it does not use that.
