Why does the "t" key sometimes put the font mode in Fixed Width?
While I am typing in text the "t" character sometimes does not type but puts the font into Fixed Width mode. I have to go back and reset the font to the Variable Width (default) in order to keep the text from looking odd. The fault does not seem to be in the keyboard as I have tried three different ones so far and the problem persists. This is very odd and bothersome!

Well the shortcut is Ctrl +T, so at a guess your missing shift or whatever is adjacent to the Ctrl key and invoking the shortcut.

Well, that seems to be it. The keyboard has a fairly high cntrl key relative to the height of the shift key. Is there any way to turn off this feature??
