Thunderbird insists on downloading Inbox emails everytime I try to migrate a folder of emails from Outlook WebApp to Gmail. Why?

I am trying to migrate emails from multiple folders on Outlook WebApp to my folders in my Gmail account. Each time I try to migrate (or download?) a folder of emails, Thunderbird insists on, yet again, downloading all my Inbox emails from Outlook to Gmail. This slows everything up and sometimes never completes the migration of the specific folder of emails, or causes a majority of them not to transfer. Please help! Thank you so much.

Ok, I am lost here. are these accounts both configured in Thunderbird? How?

Yes, both these accounts are configured in Thunderbird, but I'm not sure how to answer your question of "how?"

I'm trying to copy my folders of emails from Outlook WebApp to Gmail, but each time I try to copy a folder, Thunderbird starts to copy the Outlook Inbox to Gmail again and again, even though it's already been transferred.

How? OWA (Outlook Web Application) is a web extension of Exchange server. It is also different to Outlook.com mail.

You can create an account in Thunderbird to talk to Exchange server using an add-on (ExQuilla), or external program (DavMail) or use a native IMAP connection to the Exchange server (but that is not OWA). So I asked you how, because they are all very different in their function.

If you using standard IMAP your not using Outlook Web App. So how did you configure your Outlook Web App is really what I want to know.
