sync is not moving across everything i have had synced for the past year onto my new computer.

Plus the security update last friday had messed up my computer i had to do a rollback on my windows 7 machine in order to remove it as the update was still blocking the website i needed.

I tried to move the profile to my new computer but it said things were missing.

HOW CAN FIREFOX SYNC NOT BE WORKING I MANUALLY SYNCED SOMETIMES TO ENSURE THAT IT WAS UP TO DATE, I AM STARTING TO THINK THAT FIREFOX IS CRAP. OPERA BROWSER WAS THE BEST AT SYNCING.

I understand that a computer was rolled back to a particular back up date. The data that is now in the local Firefox profile should be syncing as if it was from that date. I do not know exactly how long the login credentials for sync are stored, however please note that Sync is not a back up.

In order to attach the device back to the account, you will have to remove the account and login again. Once attached it will merge the local profile with what is actively syncing.
