not updating to 45.0.1

I noticed that there is a new update 45.0.1 on both Firefox's web site and File Hippo, yet, when I check the "about Firefox" tool it shows that 45.0 is up to date. What gives? Thanks

Hi arejfour, the update server usually is set not to report an update is available to all Firefox users on the first day of release. I think it's usually notified to only about 10-20% of users initially in case it causes severe issues in which case updates are halted. If the initial experience is good, it will then be released to all. At least, that's my understanding.

If you're in a hurry, we probably could dig up a link to a full installer, but since it doesn't look like a security update, unless you are experiencing problems in Firefox 45, I'm not sure it's worth rushing: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/45.0.1/releasenotes/.
