I am trying to update Thunderbird V.38 to V.45. I get the error message "Software Update Failed The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Thunderbird running on your computer, and then restart Thunderbird to try again." I followed the instructions in your help section, nothing worked. I thought I would finally accomplish this task by using the "Last Resort" of downloading V.45 over V.38. Not so!...when I tried I got the error message "error 404". What is my problem?

I had tried twice from the mozilla.org to download v.45...went back and tried it again and it worked, but it was not v.45...still v.38. I guess it is too soon to upgrade to v.45 as it was released only yesterday...thanks for trying to help! I am usually my worst enemy and this is no exception....
