Are you using an add-on that does this? Disable it.

no e mail add on...just Mozilla and ATT.net e mail. These aren't pop ups but rather black notices that sneak in from the right side telling me that this particular e mail is waiting to be read...also, I am using windows 10

And it comes up on when you are on the ATT website? Does this happen on other websites?
