I used TB on WIndows temporarily. there, i turned on notification popup. migrated profile back to Mac after mac was repaired, and now running 45.5.1 on Mac. and can't get the popup to STOP. i turned off notifications in options/general but the sucker still pops up when a new mail arrives. PLEASE HELP. Many Thanks.

try reinstalling.... I have seen odd issues with profile migrating from Windows to unix/Linux with absolute paths being an issue as well. is there anything else that is behaving oddly?

Many thanks Matt Everything else works. I installed an older version of TB but same happened. I should do a clean reinstall but am afraid will lose all my addins etc.

Thinking of migrating back to Windows and setting the flag there, and trying that...... unless you have any other ideas to do clean reinstall without losing addins. Thanks and regards

ok folks, moving the whole profile to windows - turning off and on and off the notification and bringing it back to mac killed the annoying popup. thanks for your helps.
