transfer firefox from imac to macbook pro
i accidentally deleted firefox from my mac book pro. the operating system is 10.6.8. I still have firefox on my imac... can i somehow transfer to my mac book pro?
Chosen solution
Firefox comes in two or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And one folder in the profile of each user on the computer.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user folders would not be affected.
Use these links to find the profile on the old computer. Copy the folder As Is to a folder on a thumb drive. Now move the thumb to the new system and copy the folder to the profile folder on the new system.
Use these links to access the old profile.
