I have Thunderbird on two Windows 10 computers (one is a surface pro). I have two timeWarner (roadrunner) e-mail accounts. Both computers have been getting my mail with no problems. I did change the password on one of the accounts three weeks ago but there has been no problem until this week. First one computer started asking for the twc (time warner cable) password for one (and only one) account. When I put in the correct password is says it is not correct. Today the Surface pro started doing the exact same thing. I can log on directly to time warner and get my mail for this account with the current password so I know it is correct. I would like to use Thunderbird. I cannot find in the Thunderbird tools where it stores the password to see why it is suddenly asking for this and I don't understand why it won't "take" the correct password. Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest you disable your anti virus from scanning mail and more importantly check the firewall component of your anti virus to ensure Thunderbird is allowed.
