While opening debugger firefox not opening any of the script files, js or ts (see attachment). I used debugger from chrome browser and it is working there, so i guess it is not related to the code / compilation itself.

I followed the the instructions given by official documentation (tools -> web developer -> debugger), please let me know if i am missing something here.

Also let me know in case anything else is required, i am not sure what else to attach.

More details: Firefox 56.0 (64-bits) SO: Fedora release 26

Are you possibly running Firefox in Private Browsing mode?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

I am not running Firefox in private mode.

I created a new profile as per your suggestion and still the js files are not getting loaded. I checked the addons tab in the new profile and no one was present.

Do you have any idea of what else to check (i hate chrome).

In the console i got an error, not sure if it is related:

Now i believe there is some issue with the official package for linux. I downloaded latest version from official website and the same issue is present there:

Version=56.0.2 BuildID=20171024165158

I also installed firefox for developers latest version and it is working fine in this package.

Version=58.0 BuildID=20171103003834
