12/11/2017 I just received an update from Microsoft for my Windows 10. When I clicked on Firefox later, I received notification that is was not my default browser (which it was before the update). I tried to go through the Control Panel in Windows (like I use to) and noticed that after clicking on the "Default Setting App" to change the browser, Firefox was no longer there. I then went to the App's setting tab in Windows. Clicked on Microsoft Edge, selected "Set Defaults by App", and then selected Firefox as my browser. Icons on menu bar blinked (like they usually do when I am changing the browser), but when I closed the application I noticed that my Icons on the desktop still showed Microsoft Edge as the default browser. I tried reinstalling Firefox to your current version (57), selected Firefox as the default browser and was taken back to "Windows Apps", where it prompted me once again to go to Microsoft Edge, select Firefox as my default browser, which I did, and ran into the same problem that I have just previously described. Is there a solution to my dilemma, or am I doomed to have to Microsoft Windows and its browsers hijack my choices forever?
