Hi I'm from Nigeria. I received a message telling me that I won an iPhone X. So I went to settings, I was totally distracted and didn't read through the *clear private chat option*. Unfortunately every option there was automatically selected. So I cleared in hope that I was protecting my files. Now everything I ever downloaded with Mozilla Firefox is not displaying although the file still exist in my phone but not responding. Please tell me how to go about it. I'm so mad at myself. I'm using an Android phone. Help please

Hi

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately there is no way to restore your cleared data, however, unless you have entered a competition to win an iPhone, it is very likely that this is a scam designed to steal your money or your personal data, or both.

I notice that you are using an older version of Firefox for Android. I strongly recommend that you update it to make sure you have the latest security and stability updates. You can read more about this here.
