I can't get rid of some web links that appear when I click on the History Tab, even though I have erased all history
I have thoroughly erased all history using the firefox procedures. (even checked it by opening a sidebar showing my URL history - which is empty). Nevertheless, there are 4 web links from my browsing history that appear in the drop down when I click on the History Tab. No matter what I do (including uninstalling and then reinstalling FireFox) those 4 links are persistent.

What are those links? If you don't want to post them, send me a private message.
If "Verify Integrity" on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page cannot repair places.sqlite then remove all places.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder. Firefox will rebuild places.sqlite and restore the bookmarks from a recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
- keep a backup copy of places.sqlite in case a new places.sqlite database has to be created

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
