I have Duck Duck Go set as my default search engine and home page.

Whenever I try to do a web search using duck duck go after opening a new tab, the search results return blank. The search bar section will show, the "web images videos news " tabs show and the typical duck duck go buttons along the button will show but the area where the results should display is blank.

This does not happen when I first open firefox, only when I open a new tab. The only way I can resolve it and conduct a new search is to close firefox all together and start over.

Any ideas?

What about other web pages and search engines?

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
