Want to copy all email folders on my laptop and add them to my desktop.
I dont have any email folders on my desktop computer, they're all on my laptop. I'd like to copy all the email folders on my laptop and add them to my desktop computer. Please advise.

On Desktop: Install Thunderbird program on desktop and run once to auto create a default profile. Do not create any mail accounts. Exit Thunderbird Make sure the 'Firewall' on desktop has 'Thunderbird' as an allowed program. The 'Firewall' maybe part of your Anti-Virus' product.
On Laptop: Exit Thunderbird. Access you profile folders usually located here:
- C:\Users\<Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird
Copy the 'Thunderbird' folder and put/paste onto a suitable external device for transfering.
On Desktop: Access the default profile location:
- C:\Users\<Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird
In the 'Roaming' folder you will see a 'Thunderbird' folder - delete the 'Thunderbird folder. Now paste the copied 'Thunderbird' folder into the 'Roaming' folder. So replacing the default one with your copied version from laptop.
Start Thunderbird.
