Using my gmail account I can receive email ok, but when I send a message I get the errors as show in the attached screen shots. I have tried everything! Tried multiple SMTP settings, Removed account and re-created it. Removed the stored passwords. I checked my password by loging into gmail directly. I can send using this account on my phone using outlook.

Chosen solution

Delete the stored passwords, again, set the smtp authentication to OAuth2 (and also for the incoming if it's an IMAP account), restart TB, and enter the regular account password in the OAuth browser window.

Check that your version is 60.9.1 if you're on the 60 branch, or 68.4.2 if on the 68 branch.
