Will the grid view for tabs return to Android?

Firefox introduced collections and removed the grid view with the ability to reorder tabs, which was one of the advantages of FF over Chrome. Honestly, I don't understand why collections are better than bookmarks. But at the time, Google introduced a grid with tab groups in Chrome. Thus, the previous win turned into a losing point in the competition with Chrome. Is Firefox planning to return the grid view?

Hi

Yes, this feature is already in the Nightly version and once we are happy with how it is working it will head to the main Release build.

The Nightly version does have the grid view of Tabs. However, there is no option to re-range tabs which makes this grid view useless. For years we were able to re-order tabs in the grid view.

That could be an evolution of the feature that may come in a later update.
