Is it possible to automatically download sent e-mails from the server?
Hi. I was wondering whether it's possible to set Thunderbird to automatically download items in the Sent folder on the server into the Sent folder for that account in Thunderbird. Any time I send e-mail from my phone, the sent messages go into the server's Sent folder, but the only way to get them into Thunderbird on my PC is to open the folder on my phone, move the messages into the Inbox, let Thunderbird download them to its Inbox, then manually move them to Thunderbird's Sent folder. I looked around in the options and couldn't find any settings for which server folders get checked for messages, which would lead me to believe it can only check the inbox, but searching this forum turned up messages which seemed to suggest that people were downloading their sent messages. I just couldn't find anything that explains how to do that (other than one thread that referenced a checkbox that doesn't seem to exist).
Anyone know if this is possible, and, if so, how to do it?
Thanks.

If an account is set up as POP, only the Inbox is downloaded. To download (sync) all folders, including Sent, the setup should be IMAP, especially if you are accessing the account on multiple devices.

Thanks. That was exactly what I needed. And bonus : now all my e-mails are back on the server, instead of only existing in Thunderbird after I download them. Now I just need to figure out what the current storage limit is for my account, so I don't end up re-uploading too many e-mails.
Thanks again!
