I've tried all the steps necessary to sync my mobile phone to my desktop. And nothing is working. Does anybody know what to do? My mobile bookmarks don't show up on my desktop and I have a lot of them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

assuming that the phone has uploaded your user data to the FF account, then try this experiment:

1) be sure to be logged out of FF sync account on all machines.

2) on the FF desktop version create a new blank generic profile by going to the url below. You will find a button:

about:profiles

3) once a new profile is created and it's invoked, use it to log into the FF account and execute the syncing process. You can monitor the process by a rotating icon under the FF Options for Sync.

Please let us know of your results.

Your System Details list shows you use an outdated Firefox 81 version.

  • User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0

Any specific reason you haven't updated to the current release (88.0.1) ?

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see whether recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website like Pastebin if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.
