Hello,

I notice that Firefox sometimes connects to "mirror.cedia.org.ec". What is the purpose of this connection? Maybe the connection is done by one of the addons I'm using?

Firefox for Android: 92.1.1

Addons enabled: uBlock Origin, AdGuard AdBlocker, Dark Reader, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere, NoScript Security Suite, Decentraleyes, YouTube High Definition, Privacy Possum, Web Archives, Video Background Play Fix, Google Search Fixer

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards.

Hello,

Indeed it seems that it is a connection made by an addon, specifically by uBlock Origin:

Thank you for your time and sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards.

Hi

I have not seen this reported from anyone else, it may be something else on your device that is causing this.

I would recommend removing all add-ons to see if it occurs, then recreate the same conditions as you add each add-on back in.

Hello,

I'm quite sure that the connection is made by Firefox process, because I can see it traced by this process in the local firewall log, along other connections made by Firefox process.

I suspect that is one of the addons, because sometimes it occurs when Firefox is idle.

I will follow your advice and try to reproduce it isolating each addon.

Thank you.
