I moved some Firefox components around and now the browser will not start or open. What did I do wrong?
When I installed the browser, I clicked on desktop, and not only did the Firefox icon appear, but other files did as well. My desktop looked cluttered, so I thought tat I would store the extra files in a new folder. When I turned on my computer again and clicked on the browser icon, I kept getting error messages that xul.dll and other files could not be found. It did not matter if I replaced them back on my desktop.

Did you install Firefox on your Desktop or moved the Firefox files from the Mozilla Firefox folder to the desktop?
If you did then remove those files.
- Download a new version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
- Install that new version of the Firefox in the default location (C:\Mozilla Firefox)
Well, shortly after I downloaded Firefox version 3.6, I got adblock, and after I minimized the window, I saw all of these icons on my desktop. They were never in a Firefox folder to begin with. I decided to move some of them to the local disc (I am using Windows XP), but the browser worked just fine. This was on Friday, Oct. 22. On Saturday, I started up my computer and moved other extraneous files, but now the browser would not start at all, even if I put specific files in question back on the destop.
If I download Firefox again, what will happen to the extra files and where should I store the Firefox file?
