Updated Firefox says "Content Encoding Error / The page you are trying to view...uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression... This is the Walgreens photo page. Older version works fine on laptop. How do I get older version back on my desktop?

This is why I hate even free software updates. The Walgreens web site includes a page for uploading prints. They have a zillion stores around the country, and surely thousands of .online users. It's always worked for me in the past, but when I went to a new version of Firefox (short of v. 4) it stopped working. Downloading v. 4 now to see if you fixed the problem. If not, and if I can't get my old version of Firefox back, you've ruined my computer.

I had the same problem but what ever i did, nothing helped... Then i made a little experiment. I had a ZONE ALARM firewall and i uninstalled it. The moment i did that, problems stopped!!!

Check your firewall settings.
