Once again, I've stumbled over yet another Drop-Down menu that is too dark to be readable.

This time it's the little menu that drops down in the upper left screen when you click History-->Show All bookmarks.

I sincerely wish that the Firefox developers would take a look at all the coding for these darkened drop-downs, and fix them universally to light gray background/black text so the average user can easily see the instructions.

You fixed one I requested 1 month ago in this venue. At that time, I communicated to you that "there were other" drop-downs that were also too dark to read. This is one of the ones I was talking about then.

I wish I had the time to set aside a day and do nothing but go through the entirety of Firefox 11, clicking every element to see what color menus drop-down, but unfortunately I don't.

Menu on Bookmarks Toolbar for Organizing/Changing/Show All Bookmarks TOO DARK TO READ!

Once again, I've stumbled over yet another menu that is too dark to be readable.

This time it's the little menu that shows up in the upper left screen when you click History-->Show All bookmarks. I believe it's on the Bookmarks Toolbar, but I can't be sure. The dark color extends all the way across the screen like a toolbar, so I'm guessing it's not a "menu" per se, but rather part of the toolbar, but what do I know, except that the instructions are unreadable!

It looks like you are using a "theme" (an add-on that modifies the appearance of Firefox). Does this problem still happen if you start Firefox with add-ons disabled?

The image below shows the default Firefox theme, with no modifications. For more information about themes, see Use themes to change the look of Firefox.

That dark tab bar color may be the default on Mac and in that case you may have to install a custom theme or (solid) persona to change to background color.

@mbrubeck- I am using the Add-on called "Firefox 3 Aero theme for Firefox 4+ 2.0.0," and an extension called "Make Address Bar Font Size Bigger 1.1.6."

I appreciate your response and advice.

@cor-el- To the best of my knowledge, the dark bar is not the default on Mac. Theirs is a torturous gray with tiny, tiny, fonts! Ha! You must think I'm a computer hypochondriac! But, no, I just know when something's not right, and I express it in hopes it will get fixed by the gurus!

Remember the first one I wrote about? (The darkened bookmarks drop-down menu? Please see the attached image to see how it was fixed--by whom, I do not know, but they have my and I imagine many others' thanks!)

If you'd like this bug to be fixed, you might need to report it to the author of that theme.

mbrubeck- sorry for taking 3 days to reply. I'll contact the theme's author about this and report back here for the benefit of anyone who may have the problem in the future. I appreciate your reply and suggestion.

Thanks to cor-el, also, for his consistent coverage of my requests!
