How do you get Java to work in RecipeFox ?

more options

I have tried Totally uninstalling everything having to do with Java and reinstalling Java. I have totally uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and redownloaded and reinstalled it. I am trying to use RecipeFox and it keeps telling me that I don't have Java Installed on my computer. I have went through all of the forums and questions posted on Mozilla Firefox Site and nothing is working. I am using Windows Vista. What else can I try to get RecipeFox to work ???

When I look at your "More system details" list, I see:

Next Generation Java Plug-in 10.11.2 for Mozilla browsers

So you do have Java, and it appears to be enabled.

However, I noticed a post on the RecipeFox support forum indicating that you might have to click-to-enable Java, for example, after visiting the test page here:

http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp

Or you could install the beta test version of the upcoming release of Java.

Both are described here: http://recipetools.sourceforge.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1854

Hope that helps.
