Why is the Facebook style sheet disabled when I enable Adblockplus even if no filters are enabled?

I am unable to use Facebook on Firefox 20.0.1 with Adblockplus 2.2.4 enabled. I initially updated the AdblockPlus filters and then removed them one by one to see if the problem went but this didn't work. I then removed all filters (which is pretty pointless) and yet the problem persisted. As soon as I disable Adblockplus the problem disappears and then reappears as soon as I enable it. This is a fairly recent problem but one that is driving me nuts! Help please!

You should also check your prefs and possibly consider to reset them all to remove prefs that are outdated and no longer supported.
Also check your user.js file.
