I cannot get firefox 21.0 to display any shading on web pages. I had to use chrome to browse because i can't tell where dialog boxes are. I have pictures of the problem, if anyone can help please. I have tried safe mode and it doesn't help. Javascript enabled.

hello, i think the site is shown this way because you have switched on the high-contrast theme in the windows control panel/appearance settings.

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.

Also make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
