Sounds that you have a sticky key that is in pressed state.

Do you mean the toolbox that should open via Ctrl+Shift+K or open of the others of the toolbox that opens via Ctrl+F2?

Try to press the involved keys a few times, see the Web Developer menu for the shortcut keys.

Did you try to close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer?

Thank you. I feel like a dumb dumb...-_-! First rule of anything technical...restart. I've just never seen this problem. doing a restart fixed it. Thank you.
