current version?
Today, 2013 Dec. 17, Secunia PSI warned that my Firefox 25.0.1 was at "End-of-Life" & implies that 26.0 is available somewhere. ---START--- Program Name: Mozilla Firefox 25.x Security State: End-of-Life Download Link: http://dl.secunia.com/SPS/Firefox_26.0-24.2.0esr_en-US_SPS.exe Instances Found: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe, version: 25.0.1.5064 Last System Scan (localtime): 15. Dec 2013, 15:03 Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, ---END--- I also found something called 'Firefox Setup Stub 26.0.exe', which I don't think is big enough to be valid. Firefox>Help>About>: confirmed Firefox 25.0.1, but indicated that there are "Updates available at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/", but (see attached image) there, it says, "Congrats! You are using the latest version." but the illustration shows Firefox with another format (perhaps only as it appears in Win7/8) without comment. What's going on?

Current Version?
I have attached an image of 'XP installed Firefox 25.0.1' displaying 'Mozilla site showing Firefox 25.x'. The should look similar but ?
Modified
Firefox 26 was released on Dec 10th, 1 week ago.
So why does it say I'm current (as shown above)? Why doesn't it update(same reason?)? Should I just install one of these various offerings? Firefox_26.0-24.2.0esr_en-US_SPS.exe 45.8MB Firefox Setup Stub 26.0.exe 277KB Firefox Setup 26.0.exe 23.5MB
Thank you for your swift answers.
The Firefox 26.0 update is currently throttled 100% to investigate the release of a possible Firefox 26.0.1 release to address issues that have come up.
You will likely want the Firefox Setup 26.0.exe
