Firefox is slow. I tried resetting it to no avail. No issues with Google Chrome or any of my other web browsers. Now what do I do?
Firefox has been extremely slow loading pages; it has been going on for a while for some odd reason. I tried resetting Firefox but that did nothing to cure the problem. I have run scans on my computer, upgraded my Internet service from my provider to a faster speed and cleaned out excess clutter from my computer to no avail. I have no problems with speed on Google Chrome nor do I have speed issues on Internet Explorer. In other words, it's an issue with Firefox. Whatever it is it needs to be rectified because Firefox, along with Internet Explorer, is the required web browsers for my online classes; besides that I tend to favor Firefox over the other web browsers too.

Note that a reset tries to recover (import) some data from the old profile folder and it is thus still possible to carry the problem over to the new profile.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
