Deleted History and Sync
I have my Firefox history and bookmarks synced between two different computers. While I was browsing my library on my primary workhorse, I accidentally chose to "Forget about" a history item, which deletes all the history items for that domain name. I immediately shut that computer down in an effort to get ahead of its outgoing sync data, in hopes the deleted history, which was also on my secondary PC, wouldn't carry over.
So it hasn't been affected yet, and I don't believe Sync synchronizes DELETED history, but I don't want to take the chance finding out. Can I rest easy that the relevant history will remain in my secondary's library even after I go back to using Firefox on my primary and it continues to sync the current sessions? And if I want to get the relevant history back in my primary's library, can I Sync Now from my secondary to get it to reappear in my primary or will I have to manually revisit all those pages from my secondary and THEN sync? Thanks.

Hey!
So make a copy of the profile folder in the computer that has not deleted the history yet. There is a sync default time and a time to sync after start up. First make a copy of the profile before you open the computer you changed the option on. Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
Then open the computer and unsync history. Warning, this computer's profile will be overwritten after you force sync the profile on the second computer. Usually it will sync only the history of the first computer if you turn the history sync off. If you want to include the history readd the account to the work computer and it will have the same profile of the last sync in the cloud. You can check the last sync time in the profile folder as well with the timestamp of the places.sqlite file.
I hope this helps :-)
