Since the most recent Lastpass update (5.5.17) the Lastpass icon on the Firefox toolbar doesn't work, and nothing that I've found corrects this. Suggestions?

Lastpass toolbar icon used to bring up the master sign-in box for LP, which would then open all account passwords for various sites. Since 5.5.17, the LP icon doesn't do anything and (after doing considerable research), nothing I've tried makes any difference. I'd welcome suggestions. Thank you.

I appreciate the quick response, but I already read through all the linked material yesterday and found very few actual solutions, none of which worked. The only one I haven't tried yet is to just abandon LP for different PW management software.

Have you tried reddit/r/Lastpass?

Can't help myself, I haven't ever used an external password manager, and if I wanted one it sure wouldn't be Lastpass. Not after their servers were hacked a couple of years ago, what with the lack of quick notification to their users and their casual response to news stories that reported the breach.
