WHEN I CLICK ON THE ICON ON DESKTOP IT BRINGS ME TO A DOWNLOAD PAGE AFTER I CLICK ON SAVE FIRE FOX OPENS AFTER I USE IT AND EXIT OUT OF IT. THE NEXT TIME I GO INTO FIRE FOX AFTER CLICKING THE ICON TO OPEN I HAVE TO CLICK RUN TO OPEN IT AGAIN. I USED TO JUST CLICK ON THE ICON AND FIRE FOX WOULD OPEN WITH OUT ANYTHING ELSE. AM I DOING ANYTHING WRONG OR DID YOU SET FIRE FOX UP TO DOMTHIS ALL THE TIME?

It could be that you have inadvertently set your home page to the download page for Firefox. To check go to Options and see what you have set for your homepage, if its anything like "https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/" then remove what is in the box. Then close and open Firefox again
